I Finished Ted Lasso, But It Won’t End For Me

Ted Lasso is definitely the best series I have watched so far this year. It now ranks as the fourth best series of my life, behind Better Call Saul at number one, Breaking Bad at number two, and Friends at number three. It has joined my specific list of shows that start but never really end for me; I know I will always go back and watch a few episodes.

The series currently has three seasons, and there are rumors about a fourth. Season one consists of 10 episodes, averaging 34 minutes each. Seasons two and three both have 12 episodes, with episodes lasting around 43 to 44 minutes.

The story follows an American football coach who takes over a soccer team, but it offers much more. I loved the colorful vibe, the issues it tackles, the jokes, the intimacy between the people, and Ted Lasso’s style of leadership. It is human, very human. You learn about humanity, personal growth, how to interact with others, and empathy. Even if you already know these things, you get to watch them play out in a very non-clichéd way and just enjoy it. I genuinely liked every single character in the show.

I will certainly never forget some of its jokes; they are the kind you really cannot find anywhere else. It is a vibrant series full of good feelings, and I am sure that once you watch it, you will want to join the Diamond Dogs too. You definitely have to watch Ted Lasso. Every series Nafiseh recommends is simply excellent.
